Summer (skincare) favorites

Summer clearly said goodbye, at least here in Ljubljana. And even though I'm sad my favorite season is over, I have so many interesting and fun plans and projects coming my way, that I'm very excited for fall and winter.

So is time to look back on the products I used the most and loved during this past few months.

1. Sunscreen

All we could hear during the summer was how important is to protect our skin from the UV rays. Since this is true (you can read more about it here) I also tried a few sunscreen products and my favorite is the Caudalie Anti-Wrinkle face suncare SPF 50. It's lightweight and it absorbs quickly, it's also water-resistant and suitable for sensitive skin. Basically is perfect.

2. Something more than thermal water

To be honest I'm not a big fan of thermal waters, they just don't do much for me. But the La Roche-Posay Serozinc is different. It contains Zinc Sulfate and it's formulated to reduce grease and mattify the skin for a shine-free finish. It helped me to survive all those hot hot summer days.

3. Beautiful nails

I do my hand nails at the saloon but not the nails on my feet. So I'm always looking for a perfect nail polish that will last long enough. And this summer I think I found one. It's the Deborah Gel Effect nail polish (shade 07). Not only is this the perfect red shade but this nail polish really lasts and has a beautiful shiny finish.

4. Glowy skin

We all love some glow and shine on our skin especially during the summer. I got NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Or dry oil as one of my birthday presents and let me tell you one thing, I sure won't stop using it even though summer is over.

5. Quick make-up look

The Eyeko FAT eye stick was my go-to make-up product for the past 2 months. When I have to go to work in the morning I don't have the time nor do I have the will to try and create a make-up look. I just put some of it on my eyelids and I'm good to go.
